Caipi Café
A new bar concept — built from the idea up.
A concept built around
one idea, done properly.
Caipi Café began as a clear idea — a café bar focused on the caipirinha and Brazilian hospitality, bringing energy and warmth to a Rotterdam neighbourhood.
Double Scotch developed the concept from that initial idea — establishing the positioning, drinks programme, brand voice and operational identity that would make it work as a business from opening day.
The brief required both creative ambition and commercial pragmatism. A concept needs to stand for something clear. It also needs to make money from the first service.
From positioning to
opening night.
Translating the founding idea into a clear, ownable concept — what the venue is, who it's for, what makes it different.
A drinks menu centred on the caipirinha with depth, variety, and room to surprise — built for session drinking and for exploration.
A brand that felt warm, energetic, and unpretentious — with a consistent voice across menus, marketing, and operations.
A pre-opening and launch plan designed to build awareness, generate early visits, and establish the venue in the local community fast.
Everything needed
to open with confidence.
